Action Housing

Action Housing started in February 2006 when one Iranian man was destitute and in desperate need of accommodation. Our response to his situation grew into a project which houses the most vulnerable asylum seekers in Newcastle. Action Housing provides accommodation for destitute asylum seekers with no recourse to public funds, (sometimes known as failed asylum seekers). Action Letting
Action Letting is a new social enterprise that manages property on behalf of landlords. We let these houses in a flexible and affordable way to refugees that are finding it difficult to access other suitable accommodation; and provide support to enable them to integrate into their new life in the UK. Action Language is a social enterprise that provides English lessons for individual learners or groups. Our aim is to provide every student with a supportive, yet challenging learning experience that is appropriate to their needs and at a cost that they (or you) can afford. Action Hosting
Action Hosting has been set up following people’s desire to help refugees when the migrant crisis grew over the summer of 2015. Most hosting schemes help destitute asylum seekers that are currently living in Britain, rather than those that have recently arrived where there are systems in place to support them.
